Brooklyn Faith Colenda

Brooklyn Faith Colenda was born on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:45am. to loving parents Kevin and Gracie Colenda at TriStar Centennial Hospital, Nashville, TN.

Brooklyn’s family was blessed with almost fourteen hours with her, before she passed gently into the arms of Jesus at 12:37am on July 25, 2023. Brooklyn experienced holding hands with her mommy and daddy, listening as they sang her songs, and being told “I love you” an uncountable number of times.
 

Brooklyn will be cherished by her mommy and daddy, Kevin and Gracie Colenda, big sister Brynlee, her paternal grandparents, Josie Colenda of Portland, TN and Brian Colenda of North Carolina; her maternal grandparents, Mary and Wayne Maddle of Portland, TN, her aunts and uncles, Ashlee Drake (Austin), Katie Colenda, Kristen Bartlett (Gregory), Jessica Gill (Paul Yates), Ricky Elmore, Becky Elmore along with her 16 cousins and many others. Brooklyn will always remain her parents’ precious baby and Brynlee’s little sister and they will hold her again in heaven one day.

Her life was a brief gift to us that will never be forgotten.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Restlawn Memory Gardens.  Visitation with family will be from 1:00pm until the time of service.
